KNIGHT: When I was finally crazy because I was about to have an abortion, I conceived of the most insane idea that any woman can think of. Which is to love.
How Can a Woman Love? How can Anybody Love - if you can’t be what’s inside of you?
By loving another person, I would turn every wrong into right, I would put myself in situations so absurd that the glory of my name would resound.
KNIGHT (outside) "in order to love I had to find someone to love. ‘Why’? .... ‘Why do I have to love someone in order to love? Hasn’t loving a man brought me to this abortion or state of death?
Why cant I just love? ... To love, I must love a soul. Can a soul exsist without a body? Do I need this object, so that my love has a direction?
This is why I’ve got a body.
This is why I am having an abortion. So I CAN love.
